Electrician

Our company is seeking an electrician who can perform installation, repair, and maintenance work for commercial buildings. The candidate's duties would include using testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues, inspecting various electrical components, and adhering to local safety codes. We prefer candidates with experience in energy efficiency, as our company is looking to cut operational costs and reduce our overall carbon footprint.

                                                                                                                                               

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: A high school diploma, proof of successful completion of the electrical apprenticeship, at least five years of experience, and a valid driver's license.

B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Leadership and management abilities, effective oral and written communication skills.


C. Communication Skills: Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

D. Experience:


Prior Work Experience: Minimum of five years of electrical experience and two years as a manager or leader.

Technical Training: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)


E. Physical and Mental Requirements: The position requires intermittent walking, sitting, and standing. Some bending, stooping, and reaching are required when lifting up to 50 pounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose electrical issues by reading diagrams and blueprints.

Install wiring and conductive elements.

·        

Test and inspect electrical work like wiring and lighting to ensure safe installation and code compliance.

·        

Plan and design fixtures, wiring pathways, and other electrical elements layouts.

·        

Identify and mitigate safety hazards, code violations, and other electrical issues.

·        

Staff the department with the required personnel.

·        

All other duties as assigned.

Packaging Warehouse Manager

Location: Dalhart Texas

 

Job Summary: The Packaging Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the daily duties of the potato packaging warehouse composed of 150 employees. This includes assuring potatoes are washed, sorted and packaged in accordance to company standards from a personal and food safety aspect.

Reports to: Senior Management

Job Qualifications:

  • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish) – Must be able to speak, read, and write.
  • Computer skills- Must be proficient in word, excel, and able to navigate a user interface.
  • Leadership skills – Must be able and willing to coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Compose daily report of work completed and barriers with resolutions.
  • Create and publish projected work schedules in a daily, weekly and monthly range.
  • Assure work preparations are completed in advance to operate efficiently and reduce down time.

Scale Operator

Job Description

The scale operator is responsible for all facets of the operations of a truck weighing process. The duties include, but are not limited to, weighing trucks, recording all information in a computerized weighing system, entering data into an Excel report, running reports, sampling certain inbound/outbound materials, and filing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions.
  • Inspect paperwork and loads for inbound and outbound trucks. Enter all information into computer.
  • Take samples of inbound/outbound material if required.
  • Maintain order and housekeeping of scales and scale houses.
  • Complete daily reports, maintain logs, spreadsheets and other reports, as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Could be sitting for up to 8 hours at desk.

This is a seasonal position with full time possibilities.

Operator hours are between 20 to 30 hours a week until start of Haylage in May.

Operator Hours are between 30 to 50 hours a week from May to October.

The Scales are open 7 days a week. This position will require weekends and late nights.

-Monitor Alfalfa Irrigation

-Oversee Hay Harvesting Operation

-Issue fertilizer plans and instructions

-Manage and enter in Alfalfa production data

-Follow up on Alfalfa quality and customer satisfaction

-Deal with Alfalfa sales and distribution

-Manage Alfalfa shipping process in winter months

-Oversee tractors and sprinkler system in the Alfalfa production department.

-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
